High School -- state champion in 50 and 100 free and as part of 200 free relay as a senior, and won 200 IM state title freshman year... won conference title in 50 free as a senior and 200 IM as a freshman... runner-up in 100 free at state and conference meet and placed second in 50 free at conference meet as a sophomore... team won four state and conference titles during her career... four-time first team all-state, all-district and all-conference... named Iowa High School Athletic Union State Swimmer of the Year and team captain as a senior...two-time first team all-American and two-time honorable mention all-American... set school varsity records in 50 free (24.36), 100 free (52.54) and as part of 200 (1:38.32) and 400-free (3:34.28) relays, and pool records in 200 IM (2:13.91) and as part of 200 and 400 free relays... other best times were 1:58.54 in 200 free, 5:19.18 in 500 free, 1:00.84 in 100 fly, 1:12.02 in 100 breast, 1:02.25 in 100 back and 2:12.19 in 200 IM... three-time high honor roll student, earning highest honor roll status as a senior... coach was Mike Ahrens.
