IOWA CITY, IA - The University of Iowa women's swimming and diving team fell to Minnesota 172-127 in the annual Senior Meet in Iowa City, IA at the UI Field House Pool Sunday.

Senior Christie Hooper and junior Jennifer Skolaski led the way for the Hawkeyes. Hooper came away with two strong performances in open freestyle events in her last home dual meet at the UI Field House Pool. She took first in the 200 freestyle and third in the 100 freestyle. Skolaski won three open events as well as swimming the first leg of the Hawkeyes' victorious 200 medley relay team. She took first in all of her open events, which included the 500 freestyle, 200 IM and 100 backstroke.

The Hawkeyes will compete next at the Big Ten Championships in Minneapolis, MN on February 19-21.
