The Iowa women's tennis team defeated the Marquette Golden Eagles, 6-1. The Hawkeyes recorded two losses from defaults.

In doubles, Meg Racette and Hillary Mintz won over Veronica Garcia Briseno and Genevieve Charron, 8-3. At the No. 2 spot, Deni Alexandrova and Anastasia Zhukova defeated Annabelle Espinosa and Fran Bonnelly, 8-2.

In singles, Racette notched a victory over Garcia Briseno, 6-2, 6-4. Mintz dominated Charron, 6-1, 6-1. Zhukova emerged victorious against Dabrowski, 6-1, 6-4. At the No. 4 spot, Alexandrova won a hard battle against Espinosa, 6-4, 6-4. Jennifer Hodgman defeated Bonnelly, 6-3, 6-2, at the No. 5 spot.

The Hawkeyes will compete next when they host Georgia Tech Saturday, February 14 beginning at 10 a.m.
